ABOUT Allam Senior Care

Lolita is the manager/owner that provides training for caregivers at Allam Senior Care, a Louisville home health services company. For the past three decades, Lolita has cared for those needing assistance in the home. Allam Senior Care specializes in providing 24 hour live-in care for those with dementia and Alzheimer’s.

Lolita found herself in the challenging situation of caring for her mother and father. Neither parent wanted to move to a nursing home, but Lolita experienced difficulty in finding dependable elder care. After developing cancer her father's health steadily declined until his passing. She has since continued to provide care for her mother. This experience ultimately led Lolita to research opportunities to provide care with Allam Senior Care, providing personalized senior care for the elderly and those in need who wish to remain independent in their own homes for as long as possible.

The following quote about Allam Senior Care and Lolita from a recent article in Today’s Woman and Today’s Transitions magazines. Scott Jackson states, “We needed top quality, in home 24/7 end of life care for my Mom.  Our goal? A home care company which exhibited high standards of professionalism, integrity, and compassion.  Allam Senior Care hit the ball out of the park on all three goals.  For comparison we had the ‘big name, long standing and well established company in our home for a few days.  They were found to be severely lacking any of the above tenets of home care.  Bottom line, Jackson adds, if you have to have a large, well established home care company, go with Allam’s competition…if your goal is compassionate home care folks that treat your loved one like their own…go with Allam Senior Care you will not be disappointed.”

Allam Senior Care is licensed by the State of Kentucky (Cert #500116) for in-home health services, and offers service in Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby, and surrounding counties. Most recently, they have been added to the library of resources at the Barton House and Norton Healthcare Change Makers program.
